HACCP International’s Australasian based staff enjoyed an opportunity to share in an intensive two and half day workshop in Sydney in late December. Management from the Australasian region engaged in a fruitful exchange of information, culminating in a Christmas and New Year celebration.
Martin Stone, technical director of HACCP International, said:
“These exchanges are very important as our company expands in this region and in Asia Pacific. Food technology and food safety requirements are changing rapidly and we, being at the forefront in this sector, need to be constantly alert to those changes and developing solutions.
Outside government, I think we now have the largest team of food scientists on our staff in this region – with project management, audit and certification teams involved in many facets of food safety. Keeping ourselves aligned and at the cutting edge is vital to supplying the very best solutions to our customers. We have the very best technologists with considerable experience, knowledge and brain power. These workshops are a perfect opportunity to mine that resource, share information and develop initiatives for the future and solutions for our customers.”
Further such workshops are planned for The UK and Hong Kong in the coming months.
