Ron was raised on a small cattle ranch in Montana, USA and left for the military in 1970 after high school graduation. After military service, he graduated from Colorado State University with as a B.Sc. in Microbiology and began his food industry career with American Institute of Baking (AIBI). This experience lead on to food safety training, education and the undertaking of food safety and quality projects worldwide. In 2008, Ron started the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) Education department while at AIBI and this began his introduction to further GFSI work and eventually to the formation and presidency of ACET Global Consulting, LLC as well as, more recently, becoming the VP Americas for HACCP International
In his spare time, Ron Participates on the PGA Amateur Golf Tour in the USA and has several times. He also enjoys attending NFL football games with his family.
